Last Night at EPFL

This is my last night at EPFL. I leave to Montreal for reconstruction of my life in two days.

The Fire Celebration

The last Tuesday night of the Persian year is the Persian celebration "Charshanbeh Suri". We make fire and jump through it. The fire helps the earth to warm up and like this we welcome the spring season.

Snowboarding

I started some snowboarding in Montreal's freezing winter thank to the McGill snowboard club.

Arrived to the McGill

I arrived to Montreal and started working in the McGill university.

Leaving to Montreal

I leave Lausanne to Montreal 9th September to join Department of Statistics of the McGill university as a research fellow.

Ph.D. Public Defense

My public defense will be held on Friday 21st August 2009, at the department of mathematics of EPFL, 17:15 in room MA 11 (http://plan.epfl.ch/?lang=en&room=MA+B1+11). Everyone is invited.

Research Fellowship

The Swiss National Science Foundation has declared its support to my research proposal. Continuing my PhD subject, I will develop High-Dimensional Bayesian Clustering techniques during upcoming two years. The project will be collaboration with two distinguished statistics professors, David Stephens in McGill and Chris Holmes in Oxford.
